"When the Morning Stars Sang Together" Job 38:7
(after William Blake)
16 x 20""
Pyrography and Acrylic tinting on wood

The piece for this category is a study from a watercolor by an artist who continually amazes and delights me..William Blake. This is a scene from one of his collections of the Book of Job.It is god addressing Job,who, like all of us,often wonder why misfortune strikes us and others, His answer to Job was basically,Were you there
"When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?"
Which means that we should not question, but merely accept and tolerate, and give thanks for ALL the other wonders and wonderfulness that still DOES exist....
That,in a nutshell,is why i picked this piece as my old master's study.....
