"Chief Ouatoga Summoning the Piasa Bird"

This cryptozoological creature is not as famous as the Mokele-Mbembe or
even the Ningen,but he has a special place in my heart because of his
location in Alton,Illinois,close to Danville,a town i grew up in for a
number of years. There's still a "cave" of the creature and a historical
landmark in Alton,Illinois.
There have always been Thunderbird sightings around Illinois,could this creature have been one of them?
