"Gaira vs Sanda" (War of the Gargantuas 1966) sketchbook study
I had originally planned for this to be painted onto a thrift store painting, an echo of pieces done in the late 90s,but ,after a bad start....decided to try a Woodburn piece. I like to have at least one every Gargantua exhibit.... here's a drawing over a light printout of the painting,which ended up as the composition for the finished piece...
