This piece hearkens back to my youth.. It was full of Fantasy and Science Fiction novels....Monster movies and Tales of Explorers from the past exploring foreign lands... it is with this immature, myopic view of youth that I approached this painting... A cauldron of lava,littered with idols and bones, marks the Sacred spot for Offerings to Fiery dieties.....
